Welcoming comments by President Kaylee, including introductions of attendees.
Lance provided homeowners with the annual treasurer’s report detailing all expenses through September 2026.
All dues and the lien paid by Lot 37.
Puget Sound Energy replaced the broken light on Kiowa Street and updated billing for the other LED light on Seminole. LED lights cost less, so our monthly payment went down a few dollars. Therefore, there was no need for an annual adjustment in dues.
Lance asked for treasurer volunteers and provided a brief overview of the role, stating that it's relatively easy and that most work occurs in September and October.
No open topics were brought up, but Freddie recognized Kaylee's achievement in getting the speed limit lowered on Highway 305.
Request for volunteers for the board.
Vince volunteered for the president position, and the motion was approved.
The volunteer for the vice president position has been approved, and Vince will speak with them to confirm, as they were unable to attend the meeting.
Garth was nominated and approved as a member at large.
Lance will remain treasurer until September 2026.
Freddie will remain secretary until September 2026.
The new Homeowners Association Board composition is as follows:
President: Vince
Vice-President: (to be notified)
Treasurer: Lance
Secretary: Freddie
Members at Large: Garth
During a discussion of the pros and cons of dissolving the HOA, it was presented that dissolution requires notification to all members (approval by 2/3), follow the laws of the State of Washington regarding corporations, and professionals would need to facilitate the process. It was determined to stay as-is.
