Review of Minutes from Previous Board Meeting: January 20, 2016
• No corrections
Treasurer’s Report
• See previous Treasurer’s report dated January 20, 2016; Jaime reports minimal change
Facebook Page
• Discussion regarding the popularity of this site especially for exchanging information;
• Also discussed the idea of inviting the Owenwood neighborhood to join the group;
• Larry pointed out that our By-Laws were on our Website and not the Facebook Page, insuring our privacy
• Brooke moved to invite Owenwood to join our Facebook page and Denise seconded the motion, all were in favor
• Brooke will facilitate this invite
Website Manager
• Joe has been researching options for a new website, especially those that are the least expensive
• The best option he decided at this point is to maintain what Valerie has created
• Joe will contact Val to obtain the username & password and is willing to replace Val’s name with his on the WIC’s domain
Disaster Preparedness
• Peter suggested one of us attend one of the upcoming Kitsap County meetings regarding Disaster Preparedness to gather another perspective
• Elizabeth will attend an evening meeting on April 19th
New Neighbors
• Barb & Brooke will officially welcome Pam Crum & Blackmores
Next Social Gathering
• Idea for a 4th of July Block Party
• Brooke will poll through Facebook
• Elizabeth will check with her neighbor, Katie
The Best to Larry!
• Ah….moving to Montenegró; thank you for all your time and talent!
• The office of VP is now open & can be assigned by the Board until elections in the fall
• Brooke will post this position on Facebook (Thank you again, Brooke!)
