Review of Minutes from Previous Board Meeting: September 20, 2015
• Correction: minimum of 23 ballots, not 28 for a valid count
• Jaime moved to accept the minutes; Barb seconded
Treasurer’s Report
• See Treasurer’s report dated October 21, 2015
• 60% of dues collected; Jaime reported that this is to be expected
• Previous years, still outstanding: only 4 properties remain that we need to collect for back dues
• Jaime proposed that the HOA offer homeowners a payment plan if necessary to pay their property dues; Jaime will draft the letter
• Pat moved to accept the Treasurer’s report; Val seconded
Election Results
• 26 ballots were collected which makes a valid election
• 8 elected with 7 positions;
• Positions assigned at this time: President, Peter Apgar
Vice-President, Larry Winsor
Treasurer, Jaime Guiterrez
Secretary, Barb Emel
Member-at-large, Denise May

• Peter will discuss the Vice-President position with Larry
• Barb moved to keep 4 members ‘at large’, Pat seconded the motion
Website
• Val has received a couple of positive emails regarding the website, it is a nice tool to send out to new neighbors
• Question addressed: should the link be sent out to prospective buyers when they contact board members for questions? Discussion followed, not all board members have had a chance to look at it quite yet, wait a bit
• May need someone to take over the website since Val may be leaving;
Joe will meet with Val to look over the current website and may recommend changes
• Facebook page for our HOA? Let’s discuss at the next meeting
Disaster Preparedness
• If we want a more concerted effort to gather members together, we may need to schedule more social events like the barbecue.
• Peter has left over disaster preparedness material, he will bring to the January meeting; the board will spend time on condensing the material, making it look attractive, and pass it out in the neighborhood.
New Neighbors:
• Barb will update the welcome letter with new board members list and send it out to the newest members
